Each year countless women and children are victims of abuse in the United States.  It is sad to say, but many don't know a way of escape, some flee and are homeless, while others are tortured and/or killed.  They are physically, sexually, mentally, or verbally abused.  They often feel that they have no where to turn.

The abuser feels that they have control over others. That it's their way or no way.  There are reasons that abusers are this way, but one thing is for sure, it is a crime, which endangers the lives of others. This epidemic has risen to an all time high and needs to be stopped.
